Meet our Family Medicine Providers
UND Center for Family Medicine is part of the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences. All our faculty physicians are Board Certified Family Practitioners. Faculty members of the UND School of Medicine supervise residents who have earned their Doctorate of Medicine degree and are specializing in family medicine.
Our team of family physicians are supported by experienced counselors, nurse practitioners, and specialists to offer the comprehensive care you deserve.
Sarah Lesmeister
Bismarck
Dr Lesmeister worked in a family medicine clinic leading up to medical school and fell in love with the variety of patients she would see in a day. That carried over into medical school, where each rotation captured her interest. Being able to walk from one room with a 90-year-old to the next with a 9-month-old is so exciting and always kept her on her toes. Family practice allows her to see people from all walks of life and it feels like we truly get the privilige of serving the community with each visit.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, baby boy, and corgis.
