Your First Visit

At the UND Center for Family Medicine, walk-in patients are always welcome without an appointment. You can usually see a doctor on the same day and sometimes right away. You can also call our receptionists to schedule an appointment.

For scheduled appointments, please arrive promptly with a valid ID and insurance cards to complete registration.

The UND Center for Family Medicine participates in and accepts North Dakota Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Sanford, North Dakota Medicaid, Medicare, and a large variety of other insurance carriers.

New patients without insurance are expected to pay a co-pay before their visit. If circumstances do not permit this, patients are encouraged to discuss the account with the Business Office following the appointment.
