Meet our Family Medicine Providers

UND Center for Family Medicine is part of the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences. All our faculty physicians are Board Certified Family Practitioners. Faculty members of the UND School of Medicine supervise residents who have earned their Doctorate of Medicine degree and are specializing in family medicine.

Our team of family physicians are supported by experienced counselors, nurse practitioners, and specialists to offer the comprehensive care you deserve.

Waad Haddad

First Year Resident

Bismarck

Dr. Waad Haddad is a first-year Family Medicine resident at the UND Center for Family Medicine with a background in Biomedical Engineering. Inspired by the compassionate care of the village general practitioner who served generations of families, Dr. Haddad is passionate about building lifelong relationships with patients and earning their trust through genuine connection.

At UND CFM, Dr. Haddad appreciates the supportive environment fostered by senior residents and faculty, and values the opportunity to explore the full spectrum of Family Medicine.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Haddad enjoys video games and catching up with friends. A fun fact: Dr. Haddad has a special fondness for cheese—and counts seals and toads among favorite animals!
